Permissions for editing and resharing

Sharing is not one universal permission. Plaineo can distinguish between access to the task, permission to edit and permission to share the item onward.

That makes a read-only reference different from a collaborative responsibility and helps the owner retain control over distribution.

Private by default, explicit when shared

Only share the task or group that participants need. Editing and resharing permissions should be granted deliberately, especially when an item contains attachments or personal scheduling details.

Collaboration requires account synchronization. Supported offline changes can be queued, but review important shared items after reconnecting because another participant may also have changed the plan.

Can I share only one Plaineo task?

Yes. Individual task sharing lets you collaborate on a specific item without sharing the rest of your task calendar.

Can I share a complete calendar group?

Yes. Shared groups support ongoing collections of related tasks for households, projects or small teams.

Can another person edit a shared task?

The owner can grant editing permission. A share can also be configured without edit access when the item is primarily for reference.

Can shared tasks be reshared?

Resharing is controlled separately. Only grant it when the recipient should be able to extend access to other people.

Does Plaineo support public task links?

Yes. A public task link can be generated for external access and revoked when it is no longer needed.

Can shared tasks work offline?

Previously synchronized shared data can be available locally, and supported changes can queue for later sync. Current collaboration state requires reconnecting.
