Delete Your Account

We respect your right to have your account and personal data permanently deleted. This page explains your options.
Option 1 – Delete directly in the app (instant)
- Open the Plaineo app on your device
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
Your account and all associated data (tasks, calendar items, attachments, shared content) will be permanently and irreversibly deleted. Local cached data is cleared immediately. Cloud data removal is completed within 30 days.
Option 2 – Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to:
Please include:
- The subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Your registered email address
- A brief confirmation that you wish to permanently delete your account and all data
We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation reply.
What gets deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account credentials (managed by Firebase Authentication)
- All tasks, calendar events, notes, reminders, and subtasks
- All file and image attachments
- All sharing records and shared content you created
- Your push notification token
- Your locally cached data (IndexedDB) — cleared on sign-out
We may retain a minimal amount of data (e.g. anonymised analytics events, transaction records required by law) for the period required by applicable law or legitimate business purposes. We will inform you of any such retention in our response to your deletion request.
